At St. Philip’s as Christians, and disciples of Jesus Christ, we commit ourselves to loving God and our neighbours as ourselves. We seek to live lives of service to one another, and to share God’s good news of love for all peoples.
Our services follow a traditional Anglican liturgy from A Prayer Book for Australia, comprising a sung Eucharist. Our services are child friendly, with a kids corner for them to be engaged with activities they’ll enjoy.
St Philips follows the 3 year cycle of bible readings used by most mainstream churches world wide. St Philips is a small parish which thrives on the participation of its members in not only its Sunday services, but also the day to day running of the church. We pride ourself on being diverse and inclusive. We welcome visitors and members of any walk of life to join us and participate in the liturgy, and are proud supporters of the LGBTIQ community.
St. Philip’s Church was established in 1865.
